Water Potential Meter

Dew point technique is used to measure the water potential. The electron beam is applied to the condensing point on the cold mirror and reflects to the photodetector. The change of light wii be analyzed. The thermocouple temperature sensor is connected to the cold mirror to record condensation temperature, and converts to water potential. In the case of known water content, we can draw the soil water retention curve quickly and easily.
